Changbai Mountain, also known as Mount Changbai or Changbaishan, is located in southeastern Jilin Province, Northeast China, within the Yanbian Korean Autonomous Prefecture and bordering North Korea to the south. - Heaven Lake (Tianchi): The crown jewel of Changbai Mountain, this stunning crater lake sits at 2,189 meters elevation, surrounded by 16 rugged peaks. Its emerald-blue waters are legendary, often shrouded in mist, and it’s said to be home to a mysterious “lake monster.” In summer, enjoy panoramic views; in winter, witness a frozen wonderland. Access via jeep or shuttle to the summit for unforgettable photos.
- Changbai Waterfall: A dramatic 68-meter drop where water from Heaven Lake plunges into a deep pool, creating rainbows in the mist. It’s one of the world’s tallest volcanic waterfalls and a must-see on the North Slope.
